Our story

Today the market is so satured with contractors it can be hard to find one that is fully licensed, trust worthy and accountable. We believe that proper planning is powerful, hard work is essential and consistent communication is imperative. But most importantly, we believe working directly with our clients to build something meaningful.

Founded in 2005 by James McCullough, Yellow Brick Road Contracting has come a long way from it’s beginnings in Ottawa. When James first started our 30 years ago, his passion for working with people to help transform their property into something elegant and comfortable drove him to start his own company.

We understand how stressful renovations can be. That is why we make an effort to work alongside the homeowner by establishing open communication and being transparent with all the details and costs in the project proposals.

We are fully licensed, insured and all of our workers are background checked, in compliance with WSIB and fully licensed to work in Ontario. If you have any questions or comments please don’t hesitate to contact us.

TestImonials

Interlocking brick work done perfectly! James and his crew did a great job on the driveway and walkway as well as the backyard. Very impressed with the attention to detail and the work was completed on time and as described. Cleaned up after all the work was done with no trace of anyone being there. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you!

They did an awesome job! Our backyard is now used everyday, we love it out there now. It has been a few years and everything still looks the same as the day they finished. P.S love our patio!

Your team worked like a well-oiled machine and completed the job on time exactly as you predicted. But it was your many years of experience and your critical eye that was able to spot potential imperfections, before they became irreversible, that made all the difference. The finished product looks beautiful and we couldn’t have wished for a better outcome.

We thank you most sincerely.
